Panama also coming to India

Ahead of the match against Brazil, the Indian football team is also preparing to play Panama at home. The All India Football Federation (AIFF) has informed that the match will be on September 26 during the FIFA international match window. The venue has not been decided yet.

This will be the first time India is facing Panama, a CONCACAF team. Panama, ranked 44th in the world rankings, also took part in the recently concluded World Cup. India is ranked 138th in the FIFA rankings.

AIFF Deputy Secretary General M. Satyanarayanan said the match against Panama will be a good opportunity for India to prepare before facing Brazil.

The India–Brazil match will be held in Kolkata on October 3.
